Dr. Mike Van Scoy Expands His Leadership Role as Chief Medical Officer at Arkos Health

At Arkos Health, we’re committed to advancing value-based care and improving the lives of the members we serve. Today, we’re proud to share that Dr. Mike Van Scoy has transitioned from his role as Chief Medical Officer for North Dakota to become our Company-wide Chief Medical Officer.

This leadership update reflects our continued focus on collaboration, quality, and patient-centered outcomes across all markets.

With more than 25 years of experience in clinical care and medical leadership, Dr. Van Scoy brings a deep understanding of healthcare delivery and system transformation. Since 1994, he has served on health system boards, co-chaired key subcommittees for quality and compliance, and directed more than 15 value-based programs. His mix of clinical expertise and approachable leadership style has earned him the trust of both his peers and patients alike.

In his new role, Dr. Van Scoy will report directly to Dr. Amish Purohit, President and Chief Health Officer, and will collaborate closely with Nicole Christensen, Chief Clinical Officer, and Amy Radcliff, Chief Operating Officer. Together, they will continue building on Arkos Health’s mission to make healthcare easier for patients, providers, and partners alike by simplifying the complex and creating meaningful connections that drive better outcomes.

Dr. Van Scoy will focus on driving medical strategy across all markets, strengthening clinical governance, and enhancing how data and workflows support improved care. His work will help align clinical and operational teams, ensuring that medical excellence and ethical decision-making remain central to every initiative.

“Dr. Van Scoy’s vision, experience, and dedication will help strengthen our mission to make healthcare easier while ensuring our patients always remain at the center of care,” said Dr. Amish Purohit, President and Chief Health Officer at Arkos Health.

As Arkos Health continues to grow, this transition represents an important step forward that unifies our medical voice, reinforces collaboration, and ensures consistency in how we deliver care across every market we serve.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Van Scoy on his new role and in celebrating this exciting next chapter for Arkos Health.
